The newly elected SUG President elect of Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki Comr. Ogbu Emmanuel visited Christ Ambassador Student Outreach (CASOR) Ishieke on Sunday 13th May for a thanksgiving service.
He came with other entourage who are also member of CASOR CAS campus had earlier solicited for his support in the struggle to make the vote count saying God is with us.
Praises, dances and thanksgiving was rendered to appreciate God for the victory so far In election. He made it known that God is with us just as the inscription on his poster and flyer.
According to him the first phase is election while the second is leadership and the student as earlier promised will partake in the leadership and with the help of the Almighty God it will be an outstanding one with a difference.
He said although the school management may have their own candidate, the state government may also have their own candidate but the students also have their own candidate which is the people's choice and God is with us.
The thanksgiving ended with brief speech and prayers by Daddy Caleb Ugama (formal CASOR President).
