The Students of Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki. Department of mass Communication on Friday 25th May celebrated Dr. Chike Onwe's birthday.
Dr. Chike Onwe who is the former Commissioner for information of Ebonyi State is known to be a Father, teacher, adviser and friendly to the students.
He impact the student with what is needed to be known. Its also rare to see a student celebrate a lecturer, it simply because of the doggedness and advisory role played by Uncle Choke as he is popularly called.
Dr. Owne said despite the though semester exam which was earlier written he never expected that his birthday party will be celebrated in ground style. Although, it been long over 2007 when student celebrated him now he is been celebrated again.
Those who also witnessed the event was other Honourables of his and colleague who made time to spice up the event.
It all ended with some words of prayers and snapping of Photographs
