The former commissioner for information and state orientation of Ebonyi State Dr. Chike Onwe celebrates the 50 years marriage anniversary in honour of his parent on the 5th day of August.
He stated that it is very much important to always celebrate parents when they are alive than celebrate the burial. That even after they are no more after the celebration, he has played his own part.
Meanwhile, the department of Mass communication Ebonyi State University Abakaliki grace the occasion of their lecturer (Dr. Chike) parent.
His excellency the Governor of the state Apostle David Nweze Umahi and other dignitaries was also present at the event.
He gave out one hundred thousand naira to the students who came to the event.
Those who came to honour them gave out Gift and pleasantries.
Dr. Chike Onwe gave vote of thanks and ask God to lead every one to their various destination.
